Feature of SDCE Multifibre SLW:
- Developed by the SDC Enterprises in 2014, SDCE Multifibre SLW has 5 fibre components common with SDC DW, but includes the addition of Regenerated Cellulose (RC) and Silk. The regenerated cellulose component provides an optimum level of staining to accurately predict the staining performance of the principal types of regenerated cellulose (Lyocell, Modal and Viscose), and their blends, used in general apparel. Whilst the silk component allows the assessment of staining on silk apparel and lingerie, and blends containing silk.
- SDCE Multifibre SLW is produced with a narrow weave construction and contains the following components, Silk, Regenerated cellulose, Cotton, Nylon, Polyester, Acetate and Wool. Multifibre SLW undergoes a rigorous quality control procedure conducted by independent UKAS accredited labs. The testing includes the individual yarns prior to construction and further tests on the finished product. The Multifibre is required to pass these tests before each new batch is considered fit for sale.

- Developed by the Society of Dyers & Colourists in 1986 SDC Multifibre DW is a testing fabric comprising of six different fibre components. SDC Multifibre DW can be used as an adjacent fabric in many of the ISO 105 C Series and E Series of Colour fastness tests and meets chain store fastness test specification.
