- PillSnag ICI Pilling and Snag Tester test textiles for pilling and snagging. The test involves placing the sample in a polyurethane tube. Then, it is inserted into a rotating chamber. A system runs at a constant speed. It makes the cork lining inside the chamber rub against the sample. This simulates real-life pilling and snagging. After the specified rotations, the sample is removed. It is then compared with standard photos to assess its pilling and snagging grade.

There are test orders and sample information in the system, and the ICI Pilling and Snag Tester can start the test and record the sample info, test process, and test results. The system will then summarize these into a test report. The report can be sent to SmarTexLab or ERP/LIMS. The relevant parties can view the report in real-time.
- The operator can remotely monitor the test status of multiple instruments simultaneously and receive an alert directly on their smartphone when the test is over.
